I live in San Jose CA and drive inside the bay area of San Francisco. I have had the unit about 2 weeks now. Any gps unit which you buy today need to lock on in seconds, give accurate directions, have a display that is not confusing and have a straightforward menu navigation method. It does all of these items properly except give accurate directions. My other gps the Tom Tom 130 does almost everything mentioned above properly, but lacks the visitors function so I will return it. But it always gives extremely good directions 100% of the time. I just wish it had the traffic capability and I would preserve it. The directions that the Nuvi 265 provides are accurate the majority of the time, but occasionally provides strange non optimized directions. I do not know if it's due to the site visitors component or not. The directions that are not the top only lose about 5-10 minutes in the most. (Read More...)
