I've utilised a lot of GPS devices such as Garmin, TomTom, Navigon, and so on.. And in the end the TomTom goods always seem to be superior. Each and every time I acquire a new GPS, I sit in my driveway and do several straightforward tests. The first is how quick is it ready to navigate. I do not believe anyone will ever be quicker than TomTom. Second, how simple is it for me to discover a local store I shop at each week... for example the nearby Kroger's grocery store that's close to my house. Once more, TomTom can support me route to this extremely quickly and with minimal amounts of button pushing. To be fair, other devices might be able to discover exactly the same location, but not without having having to scroll by means of 1000 POI's, or with out having to push 50 buttons... Third, I need weather and visitors, and as considerably data as I can get about where I am, where I am going, and what's in in between.. the a lot more data the much better as far as I am concerned.
